Supervision
Lisa has provided professional supervision and mentoring for social workers, counsellors and students over many years, including external supervision for family consultants employed with the family courts.
Professional social work supervision aims to solidify practice frameworks, understanding of theories, addressing ethical dilemmas and professional integrity and development. Supervision can occur in person or via video-conferencing.
Active participation in professional supervision is a core practice standard for social workers, as outlined in the Practice Standards.
Professional supervision makes a pivotal contribution toward enhancing professional skills, engaging in professional learning and ensuring quality, ethical and accountable services as per AASW Practice Standards. Accredited Social Workers require a minimum of 10 hours professional supervision per financial year.

Additionally, Lisa is available to provide supervision to Child Protection social workers, given Lisa’s extensive experience in Child Protection, both as a Unit Manager in the Southern Region and in Head Office as the Child Death Executive Officer. Lisa has also been appointed by Child Protection as an expert to provide reports in the Children’s Court in complex high conflict parenting matters. Lisa can support social workers in developing skills in providing evidence in Court given her extensive experience and training in cross examination in both Children’s Court and Family Courts.
Supervision can be provided to social workers who are considering starting in private practice, or if you have already made the move, and seeking support to work in the family law setting, given Lisa has been successful in private practice since leaving the Court in 2010.

- Cost of individual supervision is $220 per hour plus GST
- Cost of group therapy up to 3 is $450 per hour plus GST
